In 1994 Joanne Davis Property Management merged with another company, changed the name to The Davis Company and moved to it's present location. At that time we became a member of Multiple Listing Services for the Midlands. The company became incorporated in 1999 and the name changed to Davis Sales & Mgt, Inc. Joanne has been managing residential rental property since 1977. In 1987, when this company was founded, she had been managing single family homes, duplexes and other multifamily units. At a point in her career, she brought an apartment complex occupancy rate from 74% to 98% in less than six months. In another apartment complex, through Joanne's management skills, she cleared the property of drug dealers and cults. Over the years she has developed many good methods and systems to control, and in many cases, eliminate the problems involved in residential rentals.
Spencer changed careers in 1987 and sold real estate for Ray Stoudemire Realty. He received Agent of the Year award in 1991. Spencer joined Joanne as Broker in Charge when the company moved to it's present address in January 1994. Spencer is in charge of marketing, sales and other work such as updating Web Sites.
